Zusman Community Hospice offers care, comfort and support for terminally ill adults at home, in alternative home care settings, and at Zusman House, our five-bedroom, inpatient setting. An interdisciplinary team of professional staff members and specially trained volunteers offer help and hope to family members and patients through high-quality care, as well as through spiritual and emotional support during this life transition.
What makes our hospice program different? First, our commitment to Jewish traditions helps meet the unique end-of-life needs of those of the Jewish faith, but our commitment to an interfaith environment allows us to provide high-quality care for people of all faiths. Plus, we're a small program, able to individualize care for each patient based on his or her own needs. Our medical director is trained specifically in palliative care, and our inpatient unit is only the second in our area.
