Specialized memory care programming in an assisted living environment
A new addition to the WHV College Avenue campus and a critical component in our continuum of care, The Cottage memory-support assisted living offers a secure, home-like setting to enhance quality of life for individuals living with Alzheimer's disease or other forms of dementia.

Gracious amenities include private bedrooms for 10 residents who will share beautifully furnished and spacious dining, kitchen, living room, activity areas and access to a lovely outdoor garden.

All Staff are Certified Dementia Practitioners
Certified Dementia Practitioners provide residents with sensitive care, including: attention to comfort and psycho-social support; reduced risk of injury, and appropriate activities.

Tikvah Programming
The Tikvah Program strengthens connections and affirms hope by addressing the social, emotional, medical and spiritual needs of our residents with dementia and their families and caregivers. The program’s guiding principles include:

• Knowing our residents’ life history and experiences so that we can address all of their individual interests and needs.
• Promoting a healthy lifestyle and optimizing daily function by building on individuals’ strengths and unique talents.
• Finding ways for residents to maintain control and make choices in their daily routine.
• Building bridges to the community by learning from one another’s experiences, interests, and expertise.
