Volunteer Opportunities

Volunteering at Wexner Heritage Village takes many forms. It can mean visiting with residents, reading a newspaper or book to a new friend, assisting with art and crafts projects, or teaching a cooking class. Volunteer opportunities can be tailored to your interests and available time.

Volunteers for Zusman Community Hospice are required to attend special training sessions before being certified to serve our hospice patients. Classes are held throughout the year. Families of ZCH clients benefit greatly from the support of volunteers who can help in a variety of ways, from running errands to providing an empathetic ear. There are a variety of volunteer opportunities including administrative services, bereavement support, patient care, community outreach and others. Volunteers will be matched with consideration given to individual needs of the patient, family members and volunteers.
