Wexner Heritage House
Wexner Heritage House provides skilled nursing services
for residents in a 200-bed facility without regard to race
or religious preference. Each resident is afforded the
dignity of a private room with a private bathroom. We provide
a safe environment for individuals with both short-term
and long-term medical conditions ranging from fractures
and strokes to Alzheimer's disease and other forms of dementia.
Wexner Heritage House is dedicated to recognizing the unique
needs of the whole person, including his/her emotional
and spiritual well being, in addition to physical needs.
The L'Hayim Program, for all residents, and the Tikvah
Program, designed especially for those with Alzheimer's/dementia,
are concentrated efforts to create a social model of care,
recognizing that Wexner Heritage House is the home of each
individual.
Welcome to our Neighborhood
Wexner Heritage House is composed
of neighborhoods, each with its own style and ambience,
catering to the needs
of its special residents.
Yassenoff Neighborhood
Our Alzheimer's/dementia neighborhood offers 24-hour
programming with the goal of enriching each individual
within its safe,
secure environment and friendly community. Yassenoff
is divided into four avenues that offer the right levels
of
stimulation and the best staff-to-resident ratio for
each resident. Staff have been specifically trained
in The Tikvah
Program to meet the unique needs of this special population.
Resler Neighborhood
This multi-dimensional neighborhood accommodates those
who are recovering from hospitalization, or who cannot
meet many personal needs due to chronic medical conditions.
The staff on Resler pride themselves on blending a
diverse
population of residents into a cohesive, interactive
community.
Skilken Neighborhood
This neighborhood is similar to Resler in regard to
the individuals it serves, focusing a bit more on ambulatory
residents and individuals with high cognitive functions. Skilken
also serves short-term residents whose needs include
rehabilitation
or a simple respite stay.
Ebner-Ruben Neighborhood & Morgan Neighborhood,
The Transitional Care Unit
This neighborhood serves individuals receiving inpatient rehabilitation
following joint replacements, orthopedic surgery, or
injuries from falls or neurological conditions. Due
to the temporary
nature of stays, rooms feature telephone service, television/DVD
and in-room dining. For more information, please click here.
