I enjoy working at Wexner Heritage Village for numerous reasons.  Wexner Heritage Village has been a part of my life through college, marriage, children and more.  Many of my lifelong friends are friends that I have made through working at Wexner Heritage Village.  Residents, too numerous too name, have a special place in my heart.  It is a special place for special people.

This is a great place to work because one has the potential and opportunity to learn and grow personally and professionally every day.  Working with residents, family and community members, volunteers, and our "work" family is enriching and rewarding.  Others should work for our organization so they, too, can experience the feelings of appreciation, achievement, and accomplishment one feels when serving and assisting others.

As a nurse for Zusman Hospice at Wexner Heritage Village, I appreciate the ability to spend one on one time with my patients and their families.  Our staffing ratio allows me to provide individualized attention and exceptional end of life care.  It is Wexner Heritage Village's commitment to excellence that ensures our patients and their families receive all the care and support they need-- and is what makes Zusman Hospice such a good place to work.  The opportunity to provide such care is truly a gift.

I enjoy working at Wexner because of the family-like atmosphere.  Everyone's number one goal is making our residents happy so they can enjoy life to the fullest.  I feel it is a good place to work because everyone is treated with dignity and respect.  I have had friends in the nursing home who have raved about the wonderful care they have received in Wexner Heritage House.  My mother was under the care of Zusman Hospice, and I cannot say enough about the wonderful care and love she receives.

Wexner Heritage Village is definitely an organization that I feel anyone would enjoy working for because they care about their residents AND their employees. I know I can go to numerous people within the organization for guidance or help.

Wexner Heritage Village Home Health & Wellness gives me the chance to work with people who are going through the toughest times in life, and I am able to work with those individuals to bring them comfort and some type of quality of life again. 

This is a good place to work because you are able to work with people of different backgrounds and beliefs.  And doing this type of work can give you a different perspective on life-- because life is never what you expect of it, but how you can make the best of it.  The staff here-- we are a close family that care about others' well being.  That's why people should work here.

I enjoy working here because I value the mission that this organization is built upon. Wexner Heritage Village promotes quality of life, and cherishes the lives of the people we serve.  It is an honor to work for an organization that honors the elderly and truly strives to enrich the lives of those who live in our various communities on campus.

I would encourage anyone who loves working with the elderly to work for Wexner Heritage Village, they will find a supportive, friendly environment.  It is refreshing to work with so many people who are dedicated to their jobs, their residents and who are all working towards the same goal.  I have yet to meet someone who works for Wexner Heritage Village who doesn’t love what they do and feel the sense of the larger organization and the vision.

I enjoy working with the residents and staff here at Wexner Heritage House.  I have always had an interest in geriatric care—this is one of my passions—and I love it!  We try to make the residents as comfortable as possible, as this is now their home, and let them know that if they need anything, we are here for them.  When the residents are happy and comfortable, so are their families, which is very important.  I treat the residents like I treat my parents—with love, care, and compassion.

I’ve worked here for 32 years, and I can honestly say that I’ve enjoyed every minute of it.  The way they treat the residents, their families, and their employees makes it a great place to work.  Their benefits are great, and they truly care about their employees.  I would recommend Wexner Heritage Village to anyone because there are not many companies in the workforce today that treat and care about their employees the way they does.  This job has helped me put both of my daughters through college, and for that I am truly grateful and proud.

The organization cares about their staff, the residents, and the residents’ families.  The facilities are clean, the staff takes great care of residents, and the work environment is great because everyone gets along.  David Rosen, CEO, and I are great friends, and the staff love and respect him, as well.  He has an open door policy, which makes the staff feel as if they can come and talk to him about anything—whether it’s work or personal—and he always makes the time to listen.
