In 1951, a group of concerned citizens set out on a grassroots mission to establish a home to serve the Jewish elderly of our community. The group established the first incarnation of our organization with a home on Woodland Avenue, serving just three people to start. By year's end, the house was full, and plans were underway to build Heritage House.
Today, more than 57 years later, Wexner Heritage House serves more than 700 individuals each year through rehabilitation, Alzheimer's/dementia care, and long-term nursing care, but it is just one of seven buildings within a framework that offers a vast continuum of services.
'Living...Your Life' means that whether you come to us in need of a great apartment where you can live independently, or if you need a few extra services, we can meet your needs to ensure you a life with dignity at every step of the way.
