David T. Rosen - President/CEO

Mr. Rosen graduated from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill with a Master's Degree in Healthcare Administration. Following graduation, he worked as a Fellow at the Hebrew Rehabilitation Center for the Aged in Boston, which is affiliated with both the Harvard University and the Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center. He stayed on for five years at HRCA as Associate Vice President. He came to WHV with the primary responsibilities of serving as administrator of the 200-bed skilled nursing facility and taking on planning and operational duties. He was promoted to Vice President of Health Services, then to Chief Operating Officer, before assuming his role as President/CEO in 2007.

David E. Driver - Senior Vice President - Finance and New Business Development

Mr. Driver holds a B. S. in Finance and Accounting from The Ohio State University. Of his more than twenty-five years of business experience, most have been in the health care field. Beginning his career with Gates McDonald, he moved on to Madison County Hospital, the Columbus Jewish Home for the Aged (currently known as Wexner Heritage Village), and Grant/Riverside Hospitals/OhioHealth gaining experience and increased responsibilities with each move. Today he serves WHV as the organization's Chief Financial Officer, overseeing the Finance department.

Cheryl Howard - Senior Vice President - Nursing Home and Rehabilitation

Ms. Howard received her B. S. in Education from Ohio University and is currently a Licensed Nursing Home Administrator in the state of Ohio. Ms. Howard started her career in the field of human resources and has completed multiple seminars and short courses related to legal issues, training, policy administration and recruitment. She was a member of the Wexner Heritage Village team who presented, "Creating a Force to Battle Dementia: Practice Standards for a Social Model of Dementia Care," at the American Association of Homes and Services for the Aging Annual Conference in November 2001, as well as the Association of Ohio Philanthropic Homes and Housing for the Aging in April 2002. She has over eighteen years of experience in the human resources arena. In 2008, Ms. Howard was promoted to the position of Senior Vice President of Operations where her primary role is to oversee day-to day operations of Wexner Heritage House.

Chris Christian - Senior Vice President - Housing and Assisted Living

Mr. Christian has come through the ranks of the Facilities Services Department over the course of more than seven years, currently oversees Environmental Services, Facilities, Maintenance, and the operations of the Shalom House, Inc. and Heritage Tower/Bexley Heritage Apartments programs. His background in new construction includes HVAC design and sales. Mr. Christian is a six-year veteran of the United States Army.

Nisha Hammel - Senior Vice President - Home Health and Hospice

Ms. Hammel serves as Senior Vice President - Home Health & Hospice at Wexner Heritage Village, where she is responsible for the future planning of the organization's home and community based services. As she moved through the ranks, Ms. Hammel began as a social worker and was promoted to several positions within the organization, including overall leadership of Heritage Tower/Bexley Heritage Apartments and as Executive Director at Creekside at the Village. Ms. Hammel holds her Bachelor's in psychology from the University of Notre Dame and her Master's in Social Work from the University of Michigan, Ann Arbor. She also received her Specialist in Aging from the University of Michigan. She has co-edited a publication, Caring for Aging Relatives: A Guide for Caregivers and their Families published through the Turner Geriatric Clinic in 1999. She has also presented at several national and local conferences on enhancing the services provided to individuals with dementia, as well as at the Fisher College of Business, Core of Knowledge course presenting The Changing Role of Social Service Administration.

Amy Wharton - Senior Vice President - Development and Marketing

Ms. Wharton joined the Wexner Heritage Village team in March 2009 to oversee the Development and Marketing efforts of the WHV family of services. She served previously as a Development Officer for The Ohio State University, where she spent 15 years managing individual giving at the Wexner Center for the Arts. Ms. Wharton has also served as Incentives and Recognition Manager for Limited Brands and as Director of Volunteer Services for the Capital Area Humane Society. She is a graduate of Bliss College, with a degree in Court Reporting. A lifelong resident of Columbus, Ohio, Ms. Wharton is involved with a number of community organizations, with diverse interests in arts and culture, health and human services, education, animal welfare, and women in leadership.
