Wexner Heritage Village CEO To Chair Statewide Organization Board
Richard S. Lamden, president/CEO of Wexner Heritage Village was recently voted in as chair-elect for the board of directors of AOPHA, the Association for Ohio Philanthropic Homes and Services for the Aging, a statewide association representing approximately 280 not-for-profit homes, health-related facilities and community services for the aging. Lamden will assume the role of chair in 2007 and spend the next year as a member of the board of directors and executive committee for AOPHA. Lamden also serves as the chair of AOPHA’s public policy committee.
Lamden has served as president/CEO of Wexner Heritage Village since 1999. With over thirty years of experience in the field of aging services, Lamden has served older adults in cities such as Tucson, Pittsburgh and Cleveland, as well as acted as an advocate working with such national organizations as the Association of Jewish Aging Services and the American Association of Homes and Services for the Aging. He lives in Bexley with his wife, Frances.
