Wexner Heritage Village to Host An Evening With Richard Lewis

Wexner Heritage Village (WHV), in association with CAPA, will host An Evening With Richard Lewis on January 11, 2006 at 7:00 p.m. at the Southern Theatre in downtown Columbus. The comedian of stand-up fame and numerous acting credits that include television shows “Curb Your Enthusiasm,” and “Anything But Love” will perform. The event marks the third straight year that WHV has teamed up with CAPA to provide a benchmark event with the goal of raising community awareness and support for the not-for-profit aging services organization.

“We wanted to have fundraising events that truly entertained our supporters while also appealing to a wide range of people throughout Columbus who would otherwise not connect with WHV. Our association with CAPA, has provided quality entertainment in the unparalleled setting of the Southern Theatre that has successfully drawn both young and not so young,” said Jake Rosenzweig, development coordinator for WHV.

Richard Lewis will bring his own brand of comedy that explores a warped world of relationships and self-examination. His hilarious takes on typically untouchable topics are explored in his autobiographical “The Other Great Depression” available now on paperback. A DVD boxed set of earlier stand-up cable specials entitled “Concerts From Hell – The Vintage Years” was recently released as well.

Those purchasing tickets to An Evening With Richard Lewis in donor levels of $250, $150 and $100 will also be invited to attend a Sinfully Chocolate Reception following the show in the adjacent Westin Great Southern Hotel.
